Xiaomi, an emerging and already leading Chinese smartphone manufacturing company, has achieved another milestone by selling more than 1 million smartphones only in India in just a short span of 48 hours. This was done during the festive sales conducted in India by Amazon and Flipkart. Amazingly, the calculation means Xiaomi sold about 300 smartphones in each 60 seconds.

Noting that the company only managed to cross over 1 million mark in 18 days, this is a huge success for Xiaomi, which means that it is certainly taking everyone by the storm.

According to the company’s statement, ‘This achievement marks an industry first, and is a key milestone for Xiaomi India’.

Moreover, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 was the top-selling smartphone in the Big Billion Day sale held by Flipkart. Similarly, of all the mobile phones that Amazon sold during the sale, Xiaomi topped the charts. So, in case of both the sales, Xiaomi easily turned out to be the top smartphone brand.
