When it comes to the smartphone market, winning the largest share in India is one heck of a big deal. It seems that Xiaomi has become part of the hall of fame recently by surpassing the 25 million mark in terms of its number of units sold so far in India.

The first phone by Xiaomi was launched in India in July 2014, i.e. 3 years and one month from now, and so far more than 25 million mobile phone units have been sold in the country, which indicate the increasing popularity of the company’s phones in Indian market.

This also roughly means that the Chinese company has been selling more than 22,000 smartphones each day in India. This is a successful rundown by Xiaomi, but the company has also been faced with the sheer criticism by fans over the device security concerns.

But we do hope that Xiaomi will carry on its expedition to become the no. 1 smartphone selling company in India by addressing all such criticisms.
