Earlier in March, Xiaomi Chairman with high expectation announced the initial forecast of the Xiaomi sale which according to him were 80 million to 100 million in 2015.However, now it appears that the five-year-old firm will miss the forecast.The chairman has now come up with a new figure which states that the company would hit somewhere around 73 million.

This came a day after he brought down the target to 80 million, saying that it might not be the preference rather we care about customer satisfaction.

As far as the Quarter-wise results are concerned, the Chinese OEM shipped 15 million units in Q1 2015, followed by 20 million and 18.5 million units in Q2 and Q3, respectively. This purports that Xiaomi’sQ4 will probably see round 20 million handsets get shipped, thus ensuring the most successful sales when compared to previous Quarters.
