Sony the Japanese tech giant is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone named Xperia XZ1 today in India. This Sony Xperia smartphone was revealed first at IFA 2017 back in the month of August, along with the Xperia XA1 Plus and the Xperia XZ1 Compact. However, the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus was released last week in India, but there are no clues of Xperia XZ1 Compact being taken to India. The Sony Xperia XZ1 will launch today at an event take place in New Delhi.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 is launched in the US with a price tag of $699.99 (Approximately INR 45,000), and everyone can understand that a fair premium on that price tag will attached when smartphone comes to India. At the US launch event, Sony said that the handset will ship with Android Oreo 8.0 beginning September. Stay tuned with MPC to get more updates regarding the launch event.
