Chinese OEM sometime like to launch their devices in two different variants and with which they charge different prices based on the speed of RAM and internal storage they offer. Xiaomi has recently been promising it to take it to the next level, and there is a rumor good enough to believe this.An alleged insider has claimed that Xiaomi will launch two hardware variants of Mi5.

Xiaomi Mi5 is likely to come in two different iterations

This comes with 2.5D curved glass both on the front as well as back. It also has metal frame and the display will have a resolution of 1080p. There will be premium model as well with full metal body and QHD resolution.

Well many of the details were not mentioned but we assume that the cheaper glass model will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM while the all-metal would have a 4GB/64GB memory configuration.

Apart from this, Xiaomi Mi5 will have 5.2-inch screen and runs the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoC.  The rest of the specs include, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the physical Home Button at the front and a whopping 3600mAh battery.

In camera department, it has a 16MP main camera and 13MP front shooter. It is likely to become official on January 21 and will go on sale starting February 8.
