Samsung will unveil Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus on August 12

A new report has stated that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be introduced on August 12 accompanied by the release of Galaxy S6 edge Plus which will be dubbed Galaxy S6 Edge+. Both devices will go on sale starting from August 21.

The report also unveils some interesting details about the device. Galaxy Note 5 will not feature microSD slot. According to report Note 5 will be the “blown-up version” of the company’s Galaxy S6 flagship, but with an extremely thin screen bezel. The device will be available in silver, gold, black, and white color options. Moreover, the reports also reveals S Pen will also undergo some design changes. With next Note it will look more like a pen. Also, it will be of the same color as the handset.

As for the S6 edge Plus is concerned, phablet will run on an Exynos 7420 SoC instead of a Snapdragon 808 chipset as was being rumored earlier. Further it will pack a 3GB RAM.

Lastly, the report also says that the South Korean company will also release its mobile payments service “Samsung Pay” in the US on August 12.
