Galaxy S6 edge+ will now get Android Marshmallow 6.0.1

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is receiving the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update after it has been rolled out Galaxy S6, S6 edge, and Note5. The update is currently restricted to company’s home country; South Korea.Galaxy S6 edge+ that is from SK Telecom network is currently being upgraded. The update is available via Samsung’s Smart Switch desktop app, and has the size of 1GB and upgrades the software to version G928SKSU2BPAG.

The update is likely to bring the usual features, including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and restructured app permissions, with other alterations that recent Note5 update also has, for instance the new Samsung Web browser that packs the feature of ad-blocking.
