Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 is yet to appear in the latest handset technology, that we have already started hearing rumors about its alleged successor. However, this almost impossible to give any Intel regarding the chip as the voices raised for it are bit unsure but pretty speculations have been made by industry experts. The important thing to note is that it may come with 8GB of RAM.

The official reason behind this up gradation will be the computing and processing nature of next flagship model which requires extra RAM. This speculation come from Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang, who also assures us that Qualcomm’s next beastly chip will be have a model designation “MSM8998”.

Obviously take it as pinch of salt instead whole scoop as it is definitely way too early to have any concrete information on the silicon. Still, it is a pretty nice opportunity to strike up a debate on whether or not such power would be useful or practical inside a handset.

Also we are still at the initials of rumor mill, it is important that alleged Snapdragon 830 has also been involved in another recent speculation, verbally teasing that it could be built on 10nm processor.
