The much rumored Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is making rounds online and the specs feature 5.7-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560. There will be two version, one will be Snapdragon 820 chipset with 4GB of RAM, and the other will be more high-end with Snapdragon 823 SoC and 6GB of RAM on board. As per rumors, the company is inserting whopping 256GB ROM as native storage.

Chinese Analyst Believes Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will launch in August.

The fingerprint reader comes embedded in the home button of the Mi Note 2. This is of QUALCOMM’s and one of the fastest in Android devices so far. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features 16MP rear with OIS and a 4000mAh juicer to give life to handset. These could be great offerings considering the reasonability of prices by Xiaomi.

As per Weibo post by analyst Pan Jiutang, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is likely to launch in August and interestingly the device is in rumors since last September and we are reading about Quacomm’s fingerprint scanner even before that.
