According to the latest report, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 unit explodes in a user’s pocket that belongs to India, and caused him a serious injury.

In Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district Bhavana Suryakiran says that his Redmi Note 4 device burst into flames in his pockets while he is riding a bike. Sakshi.com reports that the fire is controlled by pouring water but Suryakiran is suffering from serious injury.

Xiaomi’s spokesperson admitted that company has the know-how of situation. But Xiaomi is currently investigating the matter. The spokesperson further said that we take such issues seriously as the customer safety is really important for Xiaomi. However our all units go through stringent quality tests.

The report claims that Suryakiran purchased his Xiaomi new phone Redmi Note 4 twenty days back from the Flipkart. He is quoted as saying that he will take Xiaomi to the court for selling him a faulty device, and also take rectification charges for his injury.

However, we will have to wait for Xiaomi’s investigation result to decide whether Suryakiran’s claim of Redmi Note 4 explode issue is true or a cheap way to earn money.
