Sony definitely did not put forward its Xperia Z4 smartphone at MWC but at the same time it did not miss the chance to present Xperia Z4 tablet. It is a successor of Xperia Z2 tablet skipping moniker of Xperia Z3.
Xperia Z4 tablet has a 10.1″ IPS display of 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution giving an ultimate 300ppi pixel density. The display is further heightened by Sony’s Triluminos technology and X-Reality Mobile engine. The device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset, with an octa-core 64-bit processor with four Cortex-A57 cores hummed at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz accompanying Adreno 430 for graphics. It packs 3GB RAM. It has an expandable memory of 32GB.
Camer-wise, it comes with 8MP rear Sony ExmorRS camera and 5MP wide-angle front facing snapper. It also packs stereo speakers and GSM, 3G and 4G LTE connectivity. It is powered by a whopping 6,000 mAh battery.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet’s IP68-certification reveals that it is dust and water resistant. It can resist up to 30 minutes under deep fresh water. Xperia Z4 Tablet has a smart design with a metal frame, durable glass and amazingly thin up to 6.1mm. The tablet weighs 395 g and will be available in black and white colors. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The LTE and Wi-Fi enabled versions of Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet will be available worldwide in June this year. However, Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
