Sony is currently showcasing Xperia M4 Aqua today at MWC in Barcelona. It is high-end mid ranged device with “spotless build”, at least this is what company claims.

Like Xperia Z4 tablet, it is IP68-certified device which means it is dust and water resistant. It further offers cap-less microUSB port which will make charging easier. Sony Xperia M4 Aqua comes with a 5.2″ IPS display of 720p resolution. It is powered by new 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor, Adreno 405 graphics and 2GB of RAM. The processor packs four Cortex-A53 cores humming at 1.5GHz and another four working at 1.0GHz.

Camera-wise, it has a 13MP rear camera coupled with a LED flash while the front facer weighs up to 5MP. It packs an 8GB or 16 GB expandable storage, 4G LTE connectivity.  It runs latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Sony Xperia M4 Aqua runs on a 2,400mAh battery and Sony claims it will last two full days of normal usage.

The device will launch globally in white, black, coral and silver colors in Spring. It will suggestively be priced at €299 which roughly makes $334.
