With Sony Xperia Z2 tablet on the top, Sony stole the show by winning four IF Awards. Starting with the Xperia Z2 tablet that remained the center of attention for the jury and is loved for its light weight and rounded corners which make it easy to handle. Also was weighed minimum number of components, the attention to detail, water and dust resistance. The Tablet was given IF Award 2015, Discipline Product – Gold.

“It is particularly difficult to stand out with a product like a tablet – but exactly this was achieved with the extremely flat Xperia Z2. The rounded edges and the ultra-light weight (only 439 grams) make the Z2 particularly easy to handle. The amount of components has been reduced to a minimum; details such as the connection of frame and back are excellently executed – furthermore, the Z2 is water and dust proof. The IF Design award was also bestowed upon Sony Xperia Z3 and Sony Smartband/Smartwatch 3. The Sony Lifelog application which is fitness app is also recognized.
