Market Research Firm TrendForce has published the market share report for smartphones in second quarter, 2016. This report is for global and Chinese smartphone manufacturers. As per the report, Chinese Tech giant Huawei is on 1st number with 20.8 percent market share for 2nd quarter.
Oppo and Vivo are at 2nd and 3rd number with 12.7% and 10.6% market share. Lenovo and Xiaomi are following the two with 10.3% and 10% market share.
In China, the smartphone manufacturer sold 139 million units this quarter which is 13.8% more than the last quarter. Chinese companies has sold more smartphone in China than Samsung and Apple.
In second quarter, again Samsung took the lead with 24.5% market share internationally. Apple Market share was 15.1 %. Samsung managed to sell 77 million unit and Apple sold 48 million unit last quarter.
If we seek last quarter results, Apple’s share has slightly increased while Sammy share has reduced. In international market, Huawei, Oppo and LG shares are 9.2%, 5.6% and 5.4 %, respectively.
