After losing its 1st position in the last quarter of 2014 to Apple, the leading smartphone vendor Samsung has regained its lost position in Q1, according latest market research report Gartner.
Samsung successfully 81.1 million smartphones in the quarter, compared to 60.1 million units sold by rival Apple. However, Samsung’s market share reduced to 24.2% from 30.4% in Q4 of last year.
Apple which overtook Xiaomi in China, believed its market share rising to 17.9% from 15.3% in Q1, 2014. Lenovo, Huawei, and LG managed to top five with 5.9, 4.8, and 4.0% market share, respectively.
