According to Facebook, users of WhatsApp sent 63 billion wishes via Facebook’s messaging service on New Year Eve. In the total, 14 billion messages were sent by Indians.

Except New Year Eve messages the users also sent 8 billion pictures and 2.5 Billion videos.

The record of 63 billion is also important because in April 2016 60 billion messages were sent from WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, now on New Year Eve, it has crossed 63 billion target alone.

In January 2016, 30 billion messages were sent daily by WhatsApp alone, while 42 Billion were sent in February.
