We have been listening a lot about Samsung Galaxy S8, its forwarded launch time, bezel-less screen, and absent Physical Home Button. But, there is much more to talk about as reports and leaks pouring the extra topping to keep the buzz in the market. Recently, the Korean agencies have revealed another amazing development in Samsung target. The company is likely to hit 60million target for its shipments.

Samsung Galaxy S8 said to target 60 million shipments this year.

The source claims that Sammy will enter mass production in March. So as per previous rumors we expect a mid-April launch. The first batch will consist of 5 million and the same for subsequent months after launch. Which means the device could also go official in February at MWC, if March is going to be the start of mass producing the handset. Only the mid-April release is possible if the company has made it capacity till March.

Moreover, this 60 million is a very ambitious target. The last Sammy S generation did not go up to 45 to 48 million. Only the S4 has made the biggest hit with 70 million shipments and S3 with 65 million. We cannot say that whether the Note 7 fiasco will effect this shipment or not, but it already hadn’t hurt profits of the company. We hope this delay is due to design or strengthen the quality process and make the most of Samsung Galaxy S8 series.
