Open source messaging app Signal has recently introduced video calling feature. This feature was previously launched in beta feature and now it is supported by final version. This can be enabled with advance setting menu.

Signal application is built on encryption protocol and signal protocol. This protocol will later help in mobile messaging industry.

This protocol is also used in WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Google ALO.
