Google was earnest in launching its Project Ara phones this fall. But something might have interrupted the idea. The company has recently cancelled to proceed with project. Google’s rumored development has stated that modular phone dream is currently suspended and there is no news on how it will start again.

Google was initially engaged with hardware partners and developer version to introduce the handset this fall. However, the company has recently announced that the company will launch two Pixel phones on October 4th, and word has it that Google is no more working on its Project Ara phone.

Also, it was not mentioned anywhere whether that Google is completely abandoning the idea.  We seem it’s a temporary suspension as the hardware partnership and work on developer version is already in progress and can’t be taken back.

Moreover, there are problem with the pure customization that was originally designed for the project. We feel Google failing to bring this into reality by just making few adjustments available in the design for customers.
