An unannounced smartphone picture has just popped in Chinese Social Media which is considered a render of Surface Phone by Microsoft. The alleged phone appeared on Weibo, a prominent leakster in China.

However, nobody has officially confirmed its authenticity and there are only speculations for long existing leaked prototypes and other images. Few have criticized that it doesn’t resemble the previous images ever appeared for Surface Phone, so this dubious surfacing might be a hoax.

It is worth noting that this news came when the Microsoft contacted Pegatron to be the only ODM for manufacturing of surface phones.

It is now obvious that Microsoft is working on smartphone line earnestly, and surface phone is likely to be great initiative.

The official announcement was initially rumored to happen in 2017 but now it seems that company has pushed this to 2018. While, there is no official confirmation for the launch. We, however, can seek a next year launch if there will be any prior indication like certification or in time completion of project.
