  MPC Team

First of its kind as no smartphone has used this eSIM technology before.Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL are the new smartphones in Google’s Pixel series which have been launched yesterday. Google has upgraded a lot in these smart devices but the eSIM technology is the most intriguing one. They have incorporated eSIM technology, as long as user has Project Fi subscriber he or she can use this technology without inserting any SIM card.

eSIMs use is the same as Apple Watch Series 3. So if the user carrier supports it, he can download the virtual SIM during the phone setup. No doubt the change is healthy in Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL phones as user doesn’t has to swap SIMs for up gradation of their handsets.

Google has its own carrier Project Fi which supports the eSIMs so if the user is subscriber he can get the virtual SIM easily.
