Rumors are revealing that Google Pixel 2 would get ‘Made for Google’ third party certified accessories. This means, we might not just get the Google big event presentation related to the phones on 4^th October but some other exciting announcement too.

The program might be real just like ‘Made for iPhone’ and it could be coincidental and we may not hear more till the launch of the Google Pixel 2 phone.

Main concept is to deliver customers accessories which company approves of once they see the label on the packaging of the accessories and not any shoddy product.

Apple program was launched in 2005 and Apple tries to keep the quality control checks and tries to have them by itself rather acquiring third party. However, Google has moved from its software providing past to hardware and we could see perfect examples like Chromebooks, smart speakers, smart home and latest of all Pixel phones.
