  MPC Team

Mostly smartphone manufacturers have reveal the definite number of their flagship devices which were sold, but Google chose to stay quite. The company didn’t disclose the number of units sold of the first generation Pixel smartphones.

According to the market researcher, Google had sold nearly 2 million devices of the Pixel smartphones. So, with the release of second generation smartphone, Google might try to take this number high. Although there is no affirmationrelated to the same matter from Google’s end in the other countries, however it seems that the company will be doing it at least in the Indian market, because, Google is deciding to adopt a different path when it comes to India.

The VP of Hardware Product Management and the Senior Vice President of Google Hardwarehas disclosed that the new Pixel smartphones will be sold through both offline and online channels. But they will emphasis more on the offline sales.

The offline availability is focalpoint and should not be missed by the smartphone manufacturers in developed countries. The main purpose of offline sale is that customers who put in their money on a mobile phone purchase would want to see and enjoy the same before buying it. However, we have no hints on how Google will manage this situation, may be it will open modular shops in the existing retail outlets as well as in malls to sell offline.
