Xiaomi is one of the more popular brands in Pakistan particularly for budget mid-rangers. Its Redmi 5 series has delivered phones with amazing hardware at very reasonable prices. According to recent listings from Chinese mobile certification website TENAA, Xiaomi might be launching its successor, the Redmi 6, with a notched display.

The website has listed specifications and some minor details of the smartphone prior to the launch of a phone. A smartphone with the model number M1804C3DE has recently appeared on the website, with the certified status.

Market specialists believe that this new certified entry is most probably the Redmi 6, and not a Redmi Note variant, as its dimensions are reportedly smaller than the Redmi 5. The listing further confirmed a display size of 5.45 inches. The details of the display however are not available.

Moreover, the device supports most network bands so it might be hitting the global market and won’t be a China-only exclusive.

The rear of the phone is expected to be a metal build with dual rear cameras housed in a dark vertical array and a fingerprint sensor. TENAA has also listed a 3,000 mAh battery for the alleged Redmi 6.
