In line with Vice President Statement, Xiaomi co-founder Liwan Jiang has also said that Xiaomi Mi-5 will be made official in February. He specifically unveiled that the device will launch in the Spring Festival and will be available for sales a week after.As far as the specs are concerned, it has been officially verified that Mi 5 will run on Qualcomm’s latest SD820 chipset. There are many specs which are yet not confirmed, while the most recent rumors says that it has a 5.2″ QHD screen. The device accompanies superfast 4GB RAM with 16GB/ 64GB memory configurations.

In the camera department, the device features a 16MP rear unit and an 8MP front facer. It is powered by 3,600mAh battery. The device further carriers fingerprint sensor which comes embedded inthe physical Home button on the front.
