In order to deliver the order, Amazon India has started bicycle delivery service. The order of area within 3 to 5 miles will be delivered via bicycle. The trial service of delivery has been started last month in Mumbai, which has now been expanded to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Chennai.This is both cost and environment friendly initiative. Company said that delivery in remote places is more convenient via cycle than by any other means.

The person on cycle will deliver 15-16 pound of or 7 to 8 kg weight. The service boy can earn $105 to $125 which is INR 6000 to INR 7000. This amount is half of the cost bore by delivery man on motorcycle.
