Previously we have discussed how and when Windows 8 Lumia models will be updated to Windows 10. Now after showcasing the different features of Window 10, the update will finally run on few Lumia phones. According to a post from the official Lumia blog, Chris Weber, Corporate Vice President of Sales for Microsoft Mobile Devices, said, “the goal is for the majority of the Lumia phones running Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 to join the Windows [10] ecosystem.” that means

skipping few devices. Further quoting – “not every phone will upgrade or support all possible Windows 10 features” – is self-explanatory Some of the Lumia will immediately receive the update including Nokia Lumia 930, Nokia Lumia 735 and Nokia Lumia 435. Now whether the same update will run on Lumia 620 and Lumia 520 is still unknown. While the Microsoft will keep on saying “there’s never been a better time than now to buy a Lumia”, still it is more worthy to wait for newer models esp. the much awaited Launch of next flagship that will run Windows 10 out of box expected anytime soon in summer.
