The display of the phone features 5 –Inch display screen with 540 x 960 pixels. Other distinguishing features of the phone includes HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, , 8 GB of expandable internal memory, 5 MP main camera along with LED flash and auto focus and a 1905 mAh battery. The front facer camera of this phone is the same 5MP camera which is similar to the self-centric camera of Lumia 730/ 735. It is available in six assorted casing colors; dark grey, cyan, bright orange, bright green, white and black.

The phone has not yet hit the Pakistani market but is expected to be soon released in Pakistan as well. The price of the dual SIM Handset of Microsoft Lumia 535 is expected to be set at Rs.13, 500 which is almost similar to the prices of other Lumia series Nokia Mobiles available in Pakistan.
