An AR scavenger hunt will be run by Verizon as a promotion from today. Not just the free iPhone 8 mobiles but the company is also offering up to $300 off over iPhone 8 in exchange of an old iPhone.

Verizon AR hunt is only applicable for Friday 22^nd September and this is under the iPhone 8 giveaway promotion campaign.

Cities which would be part of this campaign are San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and New York. Series of clues would be given to the hunter like going to particular place and posting a Snapcode into Snapchat app. All clues are made to find the hidden number 8. Countdown clock is also given which will let the user know when to start looking and the GPS will narrate how far the user or the hunter is from the hidden treasure.

Catch of this campaign is, if the user finds iPhone 8 he would have to activate that phone with Verizon mobile plan.
