Though it is a Chinese company, but it appears that Xiaomi is walking on the footsteps of Apple. This is true at least in case of the wireless charging support. It is known already that there will be wireless charging support in new iPhones released this year.

News is now coming out that the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi, which is supposedly called Mi 7, will also have wireless charging feature. However, official announcement from Xiaomi in this regard is still awaited. The company has however featured itself as a member in WPC website, and it has also been known that Qi Wireless Charging platform will be available in its case as well.

So we can expect that the upcoming flagship smartphone called Xiaomi Mi 67 will probably have the wireless charging capability. So let’s wait for official announcement from Xiaomi before further things get unveiled.
