The latest reports revealed that Active SIM users in Pakistan are increasing due to mobile phone penetration. The number has reached up to 123 million. In October after the biometric verification, this figure was 122.595 million.

The Active Mobile SIM’s reached 123 million: PTA

• Zong reached to 4.088 million
• Mobilink reached to 6.043 million,
• Ufone reached to 3.773 million
• Telenor reached to 5.768 million

PTA also revealed the number of 3G/4G users which has increased up to 20.075 million by October 2015.

This report by PTA also revealed that the total number of cellular subscribers has been estimated 122.595 million during October 15 2015 which were previously 120.94 million as per calculated for the month of September 2015.

Meanwhile, the cellular companies have completed the due process of its biometric verification. With this government blocked total of 98 million SIMs as they were not verified by the users while total 125 million SIMs were verified, as per published by PTA. Under the research of PTA, number of Active SIMs Reached to 123 million which is definitely a good news for Telecos.
