PTCL has recently announced that after the biometric verification, the authorities should move towards the verification of data SIMs which ought to be completed till 31^st of December. With this new policy EVO and Nitro will also be biometrically verified.

PTCL has contacted its customers and asked then to verify their data SIMs as early as possible. The deadline has been announced which is December 31, 2015. PTCL has either SMS or emailed this notification to its customer, so anyone may not left till or after the deadline.

The PTA confirmed this is done in accordance with National Action Plan. “This new verification drive is continuation of SIM verification campaign that cellular companies conducted during Feb-May 2015”, expressed the official.

The unverified SIMs will be blocked after the deadline. All the data SIMs can be verified at One Stop Shops, Ufone Service centers and franchises or from Ufone retailers.
