Support for Autofill in Android O is declared by LastPass

LastPass is a fermium password management service that stores encrypted passwords in private accounts. Recently, LastPass has declared its upcoming project to give support to the Autofill feature in Android O. It is yet not confirmed when the feature will add in to the final build but it is sure that it will be done before Android O hit the devices.

Autofill is a latest security feature in Android O which let the apps to entrée any password manager installed in the devices. The password manager combine with the Autofill feature and then app with password field will be able to tap into Autofill, hence the users could speedily and securely enter passwords. It needs Android Accessibility features, which is a bit of a hack but Autofill makes it easy, from now Google is hitting official support for password managers.

Last month, 1 Password declared support to Autofill feature when Aandroid O was launched to its developers. Until now LastPass has mentioned nothing even though it is a well known password manager but it is sure that they work on adding support.
