According to a new study, Googling your child’s symptoms when they are unwell is not something safe. Seeing your doctor with an idea that you know more than him is no good. A study by the American Academy of Pediatrics shows that all this be dangerous in reality.

Just entering various symptoms in a search engine may not present the actual medical situation. In fact, the diagnosis that are generated by computer then to mislead people resulting them to question doctors’ knowledge and thus look for second opinion.

Trust in the diagnosis of medical experts dropped to 61.3% among parents who got different search results.While there are a number of benefits of easily accessible healthcare information on the web, the study’s results show that “internet-driven interpretation of symptoms” may compromise trust between a doctor and patient.”

In the worst case, delaying treatment may even risk life as per the report.
