For searching an image, Google has introduced a new feature of badges which will name or tag the content type, like in case of an image from a recipe, Google search image would be tagged with recipe. Also, if the content is in the form of a video, user will be able to see a video badge along with the image.

Latest feature is available on mobile web and over the Google app meant for Android devices. The labeling thing would help the user to search for the perfect response. User search would not only fetch the related images but the GIFs and videos too along with a label or badge.

Although Google hasn’t shared when this new feature would be available for its iOS users but like always it will appear shortly.

Main purpose of the feature is to save search time of a user when he is looking for specific responses in his searches.
