Skype has again introduced client for LINUX. For LINUX, Skype Alpha version does not include many features. However, for LINUX users, it’s a great start. If you remember, Skype was first introduced on LINUX. In the new app version of Skype you will have all latest features which includes transfer of file, pictures and videos and also facilitates Emojis.

Skype is also increasing features of its Web Client. Chrome for LINUX and ChromeBook also include voice calls feature. Before that you have Messaging features in it. Skype will soon introduce on Web video calling and Landline calling feature.

Users can download LINUX app Alpha from Skype community or they can use browse-based version from web.skype.com.
