Android Apps will now work on Chrome OS.

Android Apps will soon run Google Operating System. Reddit user has told us that he has seen the option of running Android Apps in the developer’s version of Operating System.

According to Reddit user TheWiseYoda when its Chromebook is loading the setting, a pop-up appeared and then disappeared. It said “Enable Android Apps to run on your Chromebook”.  According to Reddit user clicking on it was impossible. Seeing its source code unveiled that Google Play Store’s more than one million Apps and Games will soon run on Chrome OS.

ARC OPT IN named message is probably App Run Time for Chrome, on which the company is working. ARC is used to run Android Apps on Chrome. In 2014, it was released for a small group of developer. Last April, the company launched Chrome App Packager with the help of which Android App can run on Windows, Mac, and LINUX.

Reddit user has also discovered that this appeared before the I/O developer Conference of Google to be held on 18th -20th of May. Google is expected to make announcement regarding this feature in Conference.
