WhatsApp has almost taken over Skype by launching video calling feature. However, Microsoft has made Skype use very easy. Now everyone can use Skype without account and Skype download and install.

Now you can invite people for chat on Skype who do not have Skype account. Also users can do audio, video and text feature. Users only have to make a temporary guest account  by accessing Skype.com. Then users will be given link. This link can then be shared with other users and chat can be started. In this chat rooms users can go for free Video and Audio calling, Messaging, file and screen sharing.

With this feature users can message 300 people and call 25 users in the contact list. This temporary group by Skype can exist till 24 hours after that it will be deleted. If you want to increase the duration you have to make account.

The additional features of Skype like landline call can only be availed via account. This feature can only work on web version.
