Microsoft will take back Skype support from Windows Phone 8 and 8.1.

Last month Microsoft has announced that it will take back Skype support from Windows Phone 8, 8.1 and Android 4.0.3 and earlier versions. In 2017, when Microsoft will take back Skype support from Window 8 and 8.1 then its 80% users cannot use Skype. Till then Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 users can use Skype. In the start of 2017, WindowsRT and Android Phone and tablet users which are using 4.0.3 or earlier versions, will also not offered Skype support.

Microsoft will take back Skype support from Windows Phone 8 and 8.1.

Microsoft is turning Skype into Cloud from P2P. Microsoft said that it is improving Skype’s call quality, file sharing and video messaging features.

Windows’ share is consistently dropping in the market and in these circumstances spending other than Windows 10 is an outright loss.

The users who are using Windows 10, can install on Skype U for Windows. This application supports video call and group video call. Via group call user can talk to 25 people at a time.
