Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 on Sprint is getting Nougat now

Sprint is now rolling out a new update to Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 devices on its network. The update arrives as T817PVPU2CQE7 version and brings Android Nougat (version 7.0). Unfortunately the new security patch isn’t there in the update. The level of Android security patch is at May 1.

We have got this soon after Verizon began rolling out the Nougat update to the device. Other than the Big Red carrier, it is T-Mobile that has rolled out Nougat to Galaxy Tab S2 already that are on its network.

With the Android Nougat update for the Galaxy Tab S2 you will be able to enjoy the usual Nougat features like Google’s own split-screen mode, Notification Direct Reply, Bundled Notifications as well as Doze on the Go for better battery life. In addition, the Android 7.0 offers latest UX and a number of new features to the tablet.
