Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 duo will release in Korea on August 11

A couple of weeks ago Galaxy Tab S2 went official.Two models were launched whereone is 8.0-inches display and the other is 9.7-inches. These are Samsung‘s most premium tablet offers to date. Supremely powerful, those are also the company’s slimmest and lightest tablets so far.

Both tablets are expected to hit Korean market on August 11. The smaller 8.0-inch one will cost KRW 599,000 ($513), whereas the 9.7-inch will set you back 719,000 ($617). The latter will also be offered with bundle together with a keyboard case for KRW 799,000 ($685).

The prices are definitely overwhelming, this is because the new Tab S2 line is ensured to operate at excellence. The devices are almost identical excluding the screen size. Both will run on octa-core processor with first quad-core humming at 1.9GHz and other quad-core tickling at 1.3GHz. Further both will have Super AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. Memory option includes is set at 3GB for RAM and 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage.

As far as the camera is concerned, it has an 8MP rear unit and a 2.1MP front shooter. Both features advanced features like a touch-enabled Fingerprint Scanner and MultiWindow for unrivaled multitasking. JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division at Samsung had the following comment about the Tab S2 line

“We believe the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the most complete personal visual device designed for consumers to carry and use anywhere.”

So, the other few differences are the battery backup and weight. The 8-inch model is powered by 4,000mAh pack for a total weight of 256 grams, whereas the 9.7-inch run on 5,870mAh battery with 389 grams of weight.
