The Successor of Redmi S1 has been the first phone to launch this year. Redmi Note 2 however did not provide huge upgrades as compared to S1 except the Chipset. Redmi S1 comes with Snapdragon 400 while the upgraded generation carries Snapdragon 615. The phone further packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of Storage which is considered low these days. A few days back TENNA certified an updated version of device which sports 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. It is great news but is mixed with excitement and confusion. The new version is well-received by MIUI forums but it is also about the people how have bought the previous version. Will both versions run side by side or the first version could be returned? Also how much more the customers have to pay for updated version. All these questions are yet to be answered.

Wait and see what Xiaomi will offer us next for Redmi Note 2.
