CEO: Xiaomi targets to sell 10 million Redmi Note 2

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is selling successfully that is why the CEO Lei Jun has raised the standards of its targeted units. Very recently he has announced that company aims to make this mark up to 10 million units. Firstly, Xiaomi sold 2.15 million units of Redmi Note 2 after a month of its release.

What aided this company to jump beyond the target is its “affordability of an efficient handset for customers” which is $160 for the 16GB model, and $210 for the 32GB variant.

The device is tough and packs a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). Redmi Note 2 runs on MediaTek MT6795 chipset with an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU and a PowerVR G6200 GPU for graphics. For smooth running 2GB of RAM serves the phone along with 16GB/32GB of internal storage which is expandable. In camera department the phone meets the standards for rear camera that is 13MP. Also a front-facer 5MP is credited to shoot selfies and aid video chats. To keep the show “ON” a beefy 3060mAh battery gives the power and energy all along. Redmi Note 2 boots Android 5.0 pre-installed with MIUI 7 on the board.
