PTA: Mobile Internet user base reaches 38 Million.

PTA, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has recently conducted a survey that depicts huge traffic towards mobile internet. Firstly, mobile and telecos have now reach everywhere even to remote areas. Secondly, the companies are charging low rates and easy packages to communicate with your loved ones.

PTA: Mobile Internet user base reaches 38 Million.

Therefore PTA has reported that the user base has reached 38.2691 million against the last year 37.574 million. On the other hand mobile phone users have also witnessed an increase in the number. They have reached 137,095 million by the end of January 2017, up from 136,489 million at the end of December 2016. Almost 0.606 million new users were reported for the time period under consideration.

As per PTA, after the recent merger the user base of Jazz has reached 51.534 million by January 2017. In parts, Mobilink has a user base of 41.253 million in December 2016, while Warid has 10.27 million users one month ago.

Zong and Telenor has 27.496 million and 39.586 million user base by January 2017. However, Ufone experienced a decline.

The 4G customers of Jazz for the first time has reached 700,486 by January 2017. In relation to this Warid LTE total user base was 637,363 by December 2016. Zong 4G users’ base hiked to 2,274,157 in December 2016 to 2,855,336 users by end of January 2017.

There is dramatic increase users of Zong from 2,274,157 users in December 2016 to 2,855,336 users in January 2017. The increase is the undying efforts of Zong in this sector and most importantly, the ever expanding network to remotest areas.

Zong has the undeniable King of the market, while increasing it MB data bundles on daily basis. Moreover, the Government IT initiatives are earnestly working to make mobile data accessible to as as many areas as possible where general facilities of Wi-Fi do not reach.
