PTA has asked for applications to those who wanted to have licenses for 4G. These applications could be submitted until 30^th April.

This year,  bid for 4G license will be held in May and the basic amount set for this bid is 29 and a half billion dollars.

According to Information Memorandum issued by PTA, Government had issued policy guidelines to PTA on 28^th March 2016 for the auction of spectrum. Basic amount for the bid of license was set 29 and a half billion dollars.

Applications had asked for 10 Mega Hertz spectrums. In this auction, local and international companies could also participate. It should be clear that already three companies are providing 4G services within the country.
