NADRA has recently established Online Facility for Pakistani citizen in Pakistan and internationally where they can get their CNIC issued and renewed just through an online procedure.Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali was also present at the inauguration of online renewal of CNIC of NADRA.

NADRA will now facilitate us with Online Issuance and renewal of NIC

Government claims that with this facility everyone can apply online for the issuance or renewals of their CNICs. They will be charged through credit cards while CNICs will be delivered to their home in Pakistan or abroad.

Here is what you need to do at NADRA’s Online CNIC Portal. First apply for CNIC online, then Pay through credit / debit cards online, and afterwards you will get your CNIC delivered at your doorstepwithin 10 days. This is both for Pakistanis living in Pakistan and abroad.

Following are the services offered by NADRA’s online CNIC facility:

• Apply for New Overseas CNIC (NICOP) for the first time.
• Apply for CNIC Reprint if your card was lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
• Apply for CNIC Renewal if your card has expired.
• Apply for CNIC Modification if you want to amend your national identity data.
• Apply for CNIC Conversion to a chip-based Smart-ID card through a Renewal or Modification application.
• Track your application to find-out the status of your CNIC

The online CNIC facility comes with a complete guide for applicants for the first time or for those who want to apply for renewal. There are two modes of payment, credit and debit cards, or NADRA’s e-sahulat centers by just giving your order number from online CNIC website to the staff.

Note: Pakistani citizens residing in Pakistan will have to visit NADRA offices for biometric verification if they are applying for CNICs for the first time.
