MediaTek, a Chinese chip-making company, announced recently in the event hosted by Indian Mobile Congress 2017 that it will release the new entry-level chipset namely MT6739. This SoC will feature quad-core CPU and will also be supporting the two cameras, dual VoLTE and 18:9 aspect ratio screens.

According to official sources, this processor will have 4 Cortex-A53 cores and will operate at up to the speed of 1.5GHz. The screen resolution supported by this SoC will be 1440 x 720 pixels, i.e. 720 pixels in 18:9 aspect ratio. Dual SIM will be supported by it and the modem will LTE Cat.4.

This new MT6739 will come as an updated replacement to the MT6735, and it will be able to support the smartphones by the end of this year. Chinese company has also claimed that the updated SoC will be better in supporting the multi-tasking in smartphones.
