MediaTek has recently introduced Helio P15. This is the successor of Helio P10. P15 is an inch better than P10 in battery performance and overall efficiency.

The P15 comes with octa-core Cortex A-53 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. Apart from this it has Mali—T860 MP2(Dual core) GPU, whose clock speed is 800MHz.

P10 has the same processor whose speed is 2.0GHz. It has the same GPU with 700GHz speed.

According to MediaTek, the new chipset is 10% efficient in performance and drains less power.

Helio P15 chipset is manufactured on the same TSMC 28nm process upon which P10 is made, which is why, it has same battery performance.

The company, however, did not reveal which RAM it will support but surely it will be LPDDR3 or above. Helio P15 will also have LTE Cat. 6.0 support.

There is no news on the availability of P15 but is expected to run Budget device majorly.
