According to the leaked images that we got last week, we learnt that the Moto Z2 Play would be revealed on June 1st. That was just a leak with no confirm by Motorola. But now Motorola Canada has made a tweet stating that its next “bold phone” will be unveiled on June 1st. though the name of phone was not disclosed, we expect it to be the Moto Z2 Play.

The Moto Z2 Play appears to be quite similar to the original model. The shape of the fingerprint scanner below the display seems to be one major different that has been changed from a square to an oval shape. The earlier Moto Z Play is regarded for its extraordinary battery life, Motorola has cut from 3510mAh to 3000mAh. But we may still see great energy conservation due to the Snapdragon 626 chipset that will be packed in the device.
