According to the stats revealed by Kaspersky Lab, typical UAE user installs 12 Android apps on average but delete 10 of them, so he keeps only 2 on monthly basis. Therefore, in few cases UAE users clears the clutter by revising the content their smart devices have. They delete apps, games, or documents they aren’t interested or aren’t using.

Digitally there is an explosion of new apps each day and the storage capacity of smart devices has a limit, plus bad app maintenance lead to security threats.

The finding shared by Kaspersky Lab is named as ‘Digital clutter and its dangers’, a report which gives an insight captured from an online survey taken across 17 countries. Updating an app or cleaning it, has become important than it was before to fight with the malware any of the app might be prone to. Whereas, the survey is saying that only 24% are actually updating the mobile apps.
